How To Root And Install TWRP Recovery On Xiaomi Redmi 6A

The Redmi 6A has 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card. Apart from this, the Redmi 6A has a 5.45 inch full screen, 13MP rear camera with a 5MP selfie camera and this device is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

Download Xioami Redmi 6A USB Driver & Install them on your computer.

To understand the root process very well, we have divided it into 3 different steps. You must follow in the order below.

Step I - Unlock the Bootloader from Xiaomi Redmi 6A:

Step II - Install TWRP Recovery on Redmi 6A:
1. Download and install the USB driver on your computer or laptop.

2. Now, download TWRP Recovery for Redmi 6A Devices on your computer or laptop. After downloading, change the file name to twrp.img.

3. Now look for the downloaded twrp file. Then open the file by pressing the SHIFT key on your keyboard and right-clicking on your mouse simultaneously. And select open command windows here, as drawn.

4. Now, connect your Redmi 6A to the computer using the original USB cable.

5. Then, type the following command to check whether your cellphone is connected or not.

                                                                   adb devices

6. After that, the following command type to boot your device into fast boot mode.

Step 3 - Redmi 6A Root By Installing SuperSU & LazyFlasher:

Now the next step is to root your Redmi 6A by flashing SuperSU and LazyFlasher. Put the 2 files in your cellphone's internal memory.

1. Enter TWRP by pressing the Volume Up + Power button simultaneously.

2. At First boot, Press "Swipe to allow modification". Next you select the install menu and look for the super su.zip file after that install the Lazy Flasher file.

4. Install the SuperSU Zip file then the Lazy Flasher file or you can install both of them simultaneously by choosing to add more zip.


6. After the successful installation, select the "Wipe cache" & "Reboot" option to reboot your Redmi 6A.
